Lessons are taught by a Transport for NSW-accredited driving instructor (Transport for NSW replaced the RMS in 2019), which means every lesson qualifies for the NSW bonus logbook hour rule (1 professional lesson hour = 3 logbook hours, up to 10 lesson hours / 30 logbook hours), and every sign-off meets the documentation standard required by Service NSW — including for overseas licence conversions.

Your first driving lesson is $75, covering a full automatic lesson with pick-up included across Gladesville, Hunters Hill, Drummoyne, and the wider North Shore. Lesson packages are also available at a reduced per-hour rate: 5 hours for $404 or 10 hours for $765.

Yes, pick-up is included as standard across our core service area. This means your lesson starts from home rather than requiring you to get to a meeting point first — particularly helpful for nervous or first-time learners.

Yes. Driver's ED operates 7 days a week, 7am–9pm, including Sundays — useful if weekday availability doesn't suit your schedule.

In most cases, yes. While availability tightens around school holidays and close to popular test dates, Driver's ED keeps flexibility in the schedule for learners who need a driving instructor available this week rather than booking weeks in advance. Call to check current openings.

Yes. Our Complete Test Package ($250) includes a roadworthy automatic vehicle plus a warm-up lesson beforehand, ideally driven on your actual test route. Car hire on its own is also available. Book this in advance — availability is tighter close to your test date.

Yes — lessons are available in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, so instruction can happen in whichever language you're most comfortable thinking in. This is especially useful for overseas licence conversion students correcting habits from another country's road rules.

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a lesson without charge. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged at the full lesson rate, as the time slot can't be reallocated on short notice. Call if you need to discuss a specific circumstance.
