Car hire for your driving test, done properly
Your test-day car matters more than most people think. Sitting your test in a car you've never driven, or one that doesn't meet the test requirements on the day, adds stress you don't need. Hiring our dual-control automatic means the car is ready, roadworthy and familiar.
You can hire the car on its own for $170, and we'll meet you at your test centre. Or choose the Complete Test Package for $250: we pick you up, run a one-hour warm-up lesson on the kind of roads you're likely to meet in the test, drive you to the test centre, and drop you home afterwards.
Book as early as you can once your test date is confirmed. Availability gets tight around school holidays and popular test times.

How much is car hire for a driving test?
Car hire for your NSW driving test is $170, and we meet you at the test centre. The Complete Test Package is $250 and adds a one-hour warm-up lesson, pick-up from your address, transport to the test centre and drop-off afterwards.

On test day, Vik's job is to get you to the test centre calm and warmed up. The warm-up lesson focuses on the manoeuvres and observation habits examiners watch most closely.
If you've learned with another instructor or a family member, that's fine. The warm-up lesson helps you get used to our car before the test.
